As for more support materials, please to access www.energia.nu/sidekick.
Sidekick is a collection of popular components for DIY projects. It is easy to create custom breadboard circuits that can interface with a development kit. This is an excellent starter kit for new electronics engineers and makers.
This kit is fully compatible with all TI LaunchPads. The following examples are based on LaunchPads that support Energia software. If you are using any of the LaunchPad kits, the examples should be the same or involve minor pin configuration changes.
Example 00: Blinking LED (Output)
Example 01: Fade RGB LED (PWM)
Example 02: Push Button (Input)
Example 03: Multiple LED (Many Outputs)
Example 04: Shift Register (Integrated Circuit)
Example 05: Piezo Buzzer (Sound)
Example 06: Potentiometer (Variable Resistor)
Example 07: Photoresistor (Light Sensor)
Example 08: Spin the Motor (Transistor)
Example 09: Temperature (Thermistor and Temp Sensor)
Example 10: 7 Segment Display (Digital Display)
